Financial Manager and Athlete Roman Meyerhans

Florida financial leader Roman Meyerhans heads Alex. Brown, a division of Raymond James, as managing director. This Miami-based division began as a brokerage business under Deutsche Bank. Roman Meyerhans served as managing director of this business for two years. Today, he manages money for clients around the world and provides tailored investment advice pertaining to fixed income, equity, and alternative investments.

Prior to entering the financial industry more than two decades ago, Mr. Meyerhans focused heavily on the sport of tennis. His success in tennis began in Switzerland, where he was a top ranked junior player. While a student at William Carey College, he was the school’s top player, ultimately winning the 1996 Utah Invitational Division B tournament. Mr. Meyerhans later earned a full-ride scholarship to Brigham Young University for men’s tennis. There, he earned a bachelor’s in international relations and affairs and later earned an MBA from London Business School.
